STAT 3309 - Statistical Analysis for Business Applications I
Credits: 3 Class: 3 Lab: 0 Prerequisite(s): A grade of C or better in MATH 1305 and MATH 1306 or MATH 2401. Basic concepts of statistics for business students are considered including descriptive statistics, probability concepts, random variables, probability distributions, expected values, point and interval estimations techniques and some hypothesis testing and linear regression. Applications to a variety of business problems are stressed and computer statistical packages are used. Credit cannot be given for both MATH 3302 and STAT 3309.
