GEOG 6301 - World Cultural GeographyCredits: 3 Class: 3 Lab: 0 Prerequisite(s): Graduate standing. This course examines the interactions among people, cultures, and natural surroundings. Selected regions in the world will be explored for the dynamic patterns they reveal in the relationships among population, social organization, environment and technology. Focal topics include language, dialect, architecture, religion, cultural aspects of cities, economics, agriculture, medicine, resources, politics, and their connection to physical/topographic features.
