MIS 3330 - Programming and Application DevelopmentCredits: 3 Class: 3 Lab: 0 Prerequisite(s): Junior standing and a grade of C or better in MATH 1324 or equivalent. This is an introduction to the fundamental concepts of computer programming using an object-oriented approach. Topics include the program and algorithm design, coding, debugging, functional decomposition, variable/array handling, data input/output, conditional logic, execution control, iteration, and file handling. Students apply these tools to solve common business programming problems. Fundamental concepts and life cycle of application development are discussed.
