CJ 6301 - Criminal Justice Project Prerequisite(s):
Department approval, taken in the student’s final semester in the program. This is a capstone course for the MSCJ degree. Under the direction of a faculty project advisor, the student will design and execute a project to address an issue or problem that concerns either a) a criminal justice agency or ancillary organization, b) the criminal justice system, or c) the causes of crime/delinquency. The project may be a continuation of a completed independent study for course credit (CJ 6370) or a stand-alone project. If the project is a continuation of an independent study (CJ 6370) the same faculty advisor must oversee both. Students continuously enroll until the project advisor approves the final project.
