CS 6310 - Natural Language Processing

Prerequisite(s): C or better in CS 3304 or department approval
This course will introduce the fundamental concepts found in Natural Language Processing. These concepts include: speech recognition, speech synthesis and the methods that are used to process human languages. Students will learn how to use machine learning techniques in order to solve problems in natural language processing. Students will compare existing natural language processing software and quantify their differences.
