STAT 2305 - Business Statistics with Applications

Credits: 3 Class: 3 Lab: 0
Prerequisite(s): A grade of C or better in MATH 1324  or department approval.
The application of descriptive and inferential statistical methods, including the collection, description, analysis, and summarization of business, economics, and social science data are addressed. Statistical software is used to analyze data including business applications of probability, discrete and continuous random variables, the binomial and normal distribution, sampling distributions, hypothesis tests, point and interval estimation, correlation, and simple linear regression.
