This course is designed for graduate students to conduct original, independent research in a specialized area of biology. With the guidance of a faculty supervisor, the student will define a research problem, design and execute experiments, analyze results, and draw scholarly conclusions. The experience emphasizes hands-on, original investigation using appropriate methodologies for the research topic.
