HIST 2302 - Historian’s CraftCredits: 3 Class: 3 Lab: 0 Prerequisite(s): 6 hours in history and Core Code 010 Complete, or consent of instructor.
Introduces students to historical practice through research and writing. The student identifies a puzzle in history to research, conducts research using library and other resources, evaluates and interprets primary and secondary sources, and composes and revises a major research paper. The student develops their ability to think critically, construct an evidence-based argument, and communicate in written form. This course is worth three (3) credit hours.
