HEA 3307 - Environmental HealthCredits: 3 Class: 3 Lab: 0 This course provides an overview of aspects of environmental and occupational health and their effects on humans and society. Students will learn the basic concepts and gain the skills to assess, control, and prevent challenges to environmental health. The relationships between environmental health and the fields of ecology, toxicology, risk assessment, and epidemiology will be introduced. Local and federal regulations and policies focused on environmental risk assessment, management and communication will also be covered.
