UH-Downtown’s College of Humanities and Social Sciences offers the Master of Arts in Nonprofit Management, the Master of Arts in Rhetoric and Composition, the Master of Arts in Strategic Communication, and the Master of Science in Technical Communication. It also offers graduate courses in support of the Master of Arts in Teaching degree offered by the Department of Urban Education. CHSS also offers graduate certificates in Composition Studies, History, Medical and Applied Health Communication, Plain Language, and Leadership and Strategic Planning in the Nonprofit Sector.
