Return to {$returnto_text} Return to: Major and Minor Fields of Study Listed Alphabetically

This concentration is targeted toward restaurant and food service industry professionals with career experience who have not completed their undergraduate degrees. It will be an asset to those seeking to elevate their careers to administrative positions and other supervisory roles that require a university degree.

Through a competency-based curriculum, students will have opportunities to accelerate their education and quickly complete college credits. Competency-based coursework will be structured through strategic learning outcomes. Students who demonstrate a mastery of principles and skills outlined in these outcomes can advance through the program in a timely manner and progress in their careers.

Students accepted into the BAAS-AA-RFSA may, at their discretion, choose the option to test for a certificate through the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI) after completing the required coursework.  Students choosing this option should discuss the additional cost and exam processes for the certificate with their advisor prior to beginning the BAAS-AA-RFSA program.
