Minor Programs

Students seeking minors in CHSS must maintain a grade point average for all courses taken at UH-Downtown of at least 2.0, receive a grade of C or better in all courses applied toward the minor, and must meet all requirements of the chosen minor, including prerequisites for courses taken toward the minor. For all minor programs in the Department of Arts and Communication, no more than 3 semester credit hours of internship/field experience coursework are permitted.

3 hours of Accounting
ART 3325 - Introduction to Arts Administration (crosslisted with DRA 3325, HUM 3325, & MUS 3325)
ART 3334 - Arts Administration II: Leadership and Programming (cross-listed with DRA 3334, HUM 3334, & MUS 3334)
ART 3327 - Arts Administration III: Marketing and Fundraising (cross-listed with DRA 3327, MUS 3327, & HUM 3332)
ART 4098 - Fine Arts Senior Portfolio
ART 4380 - Fine Arts Field Experience

3 Hours in Fine Arts:

Complete 3 semester credit hours in Art, Drama, or Music (may not be repeated from the common core area).
