The Supply Chain Management major in the Marilyn Davies College of Business delivers the key skills needed for success in a 21st century global marketplace. The program emphasizes core knowledge in basic business functions, plus specific and current knowledge in logistics, inventory, analytics, systems, contracts, and procurement. Mastery in the skills serves as a strong foundation for achievement in a multitude of supply chain management careers, such as warehousing, operations, purchasing, logistics, and the management and development of each of these areas.

The Supply Chain Management major also provides the flexibility necessary to gain targeted skills that differentiate graduates in the job marketplace. Each student fulfills the required supply chain courses, and then supplements these with a group of three business courses that empower the graduate will a specific competitive skill that can be highlighted and used in a career search. These skills are available from multiple majors and areas of business, allowing students to carve a niche for themselves that is different from the graduates of other programs in supply chain. This program is recommended for students who are interested in careers in any of the functional or managerial areas of supply chain management.

UHD BBA graduates will be able to:

In addition, BBA Supply Chain Management gradautes will meet the following learning outcomes:

2. The student will evaluate strategies for supply chain performance improvements.
