Business Intelligence Faculty: Cao, Hu, Palis, Rauniar, Zhou
The Business Intelligence program presents students with the opportunity to develop a body of knowledge and analytical tools required to harness data for informed business decision-making. Business Intelligence graduates may pursue careers as business analysts, data analysts, business intelligence specialists, performance management analysts, and decision science professionals, among others. One of the most promising career paths is that of business analysts, as organizations increasingly depend on data-driven insights to identify opportunities, improve organizational performance, and gain a competitive edge. As the demand for data-driven strategies and digital transformation continues to grow, organizations will employ graduates to support data-informed decision-making, innovation, and effective use of business intelligence tools. Ideally, the Business Intelligence graduate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to communicate insights through data visualization and storytelling, and the capacity to bridge the gap between business objectives and technological solutions.
UHD BBA graduates will be able to:
- communicate in an organized and professional manner.
- apply decision-making models.
- identify and apply basic business concepts.
- identify the factors influencing individual and organizational responsibilities and the ramifications of unethical behavior.
BBA Business Intelligence graduates will meet the following learning outcomes:
- The student will identify key challenges of business intelligence.
- The student will select appropriate business intelligence tools/methods.
- The student will recommend business intelligence strategies for performance improvements.
