Credits: 3 Class: 3 Lab: 0 Prerequisite(s): Graduate standing. This experiential course introduces students to strategic planning in nonprofit sector. This will allow students to ascertain the importance of planning and decision making, the difference between types of planning; situational analysis and asset mapping; creation of mission, vision and core value statements; and the development and management of a complete strategic plan. Overall, the course will address the importance of strategic thinking, change management and leadership.
