BIOL 4330 - Molecular BiologyCredits: 3 Class: 3 Lab: 0 Prerequisite(s): Credit for BIOL 2303 /BIOL 2103 and senior standing; credit for CHEM 2301 /CHEM 2101 is recommended but not required. Introduction to the molecular aspects of gene regulation in eukaryotic cells. Eukaryotic gene regulation is explored in the context of cell cycle regulation, cell differentiation, and cancer. The course emphasizes study of the primary research literature and the creation and testing of hypotheses using current technology.
