IRM 3305 - Risk Management Theory and Practice

Prerequisite(s): Completion of General Education Core plus 18 hours and completion or concurrent enrollment in BA 3300 . BA 3300  may be waived upon completion of HUM 3310  or CJ 3300 .
Course integrates Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) processes for handling business risks faced by organizations including property and liability risks, and international loss exposures, with an emphasis on risk identification and analysis with alternative methods of risk control. Students who elect to take and successfully complete the national designation exam and project may earn the University Associate Certified Risk Manager (UACRM) professional designation and receive credit for two of the required Certified Risk Manager (CRM) courses.
