MIS 4320 - Business IntelligenceCredits: 3 Class: 3 Lab: 0 Prerequisite(s): A grade of “C” or better in MIS 3302 or ACC 3304 (or approval of instructor for non-business majors). This course introduces Business Intelligence including the processes, methodologies, infrastructure, and current practices used to transform business data into information to support business decision-making such as performance evaluation, trend spotting, and policy making. Students are introduced to managerial issues, analytical components, and technologies related to data warehousing, data/text/Web mining, visual analytics along with reporting options such as management dashboards and balanced scorecards.
