CS 3319 - Internet of Things

Prerequisite(s): C or better in both CS 2301 and CS 2410
This course covers concepts, design methods, and applications of Internet of Things. It illustrates the architecture of sensors, microcontroller systems, transmission modules, and data analytics algorithms. The sensors include accelerometers, pressure sensors, bending sensors and ultrasonic sensors. The microcontrollers include Arduino and Raspberry Pi. The course also covers the analysis of Internet of Things applications in sports, transportation, retail and healthcare.
