CS 4317 - Natural Language Processing

Prerequisite(s): C or better in CS 3306  and MATH 2305  or department approval.
This course will introduce the fundamental concepts found in Natural Language Processing.  These concepts include: speech recognition, speech synthesis and the statistical models that are used to process human languages.  Students will learn how to use machine learning techniques in order to solve problems in natural language processing.
