HIST 3341 - History of Animal Welfare

This course examines the institutional history of the domestic animal (cats and dogs) welfare and animal rights movements within its local, state, national, and international contexts. To better understand the practical applications of course concepts, students will also perform community service at a local animal shelter or animal welfare/animal rights organization.
