Wildlife biology focuses on understanding wild animals and their habitats.  Citizen science is a rapidly growing field involving the public generation of scientific knowledge.  New opportunities for participating in citizen science are appearing constantly, and scientists need to understand how to tap into this valuable resource, especially as it applies to wildlife biology.  In this course, students participate in an ongoing citizen science project, and design their own citizen science project related to wildlife biology.  Students will also be trained in field techniques for observing local wildlife.
