HUM 3308 - History of Renaissance Art

This course looks at the European Renaissance and how artistic invention shaped Renaissance society. Objects of study will emphasize the pictorial arts (painting, manuscript illumination, the graphic arts) with additional examples drawn from architecture, sculpture, and luxury items.
