Certificate Requirements

The certificate will require 9 credit hours of graduate courses. All courses exist in the MSTC degree and are taught by existing faculty members. The certificate will include the following courses:

TCOM 6324 - Writing in the Professions Using Plain Language

Electives

Complete 3 semester credit hours from the following:

TCOM 6303 - Public Relations and Media
TCOM 6310 - Intercultural and World Communication

TCOM 6328 - Hypermedia Theory and Design
TCOM 6330 - Usability Research
TCOM 6331 - Grant Writing for Nonprofit Management

A directed study course or an upper-division undergraduate course if none of the listed courses are satisfactory or if a desired course is not offered that year.
