Prerequisite(s): Grade of C or higher in: CS 1311 , DATA 2401 , MATH 2421 (or both MATH 2401 and MATH 2402 ). Additionally, grade of C or higher or concurrent enrollment in MATH 2422 (or MATH 2307 ).
This course is an intermediate treatment of the data science pipeline. Topics include, but are not limited to: prediction, estimation and statistical inference; elementary notions of data mining; intermediate use of statistical software; introduction to relational databases and queries; data visualization and presentation.
