MATH 3302 - Probability and Statistics

Credits: 3 Class: 3 Lab: 0
Prerequisite(s): A grade of C or better in MATH 2402  or MATH 2421 .
The probability and statistics useful for science and engineering applications are developed in this course.  The topics include probability distributions, statistical inference, estimation, testing of hypothesis, and linear regression. Standard statistical packages are used but no computer background is necessary. Credit may not be earned for both MATH 3302 and STAT 3309 .
