MATH 3314 - Introduction to Combinatorics

Prerequisite(s): A grade of C or better in MATH 2409   or MATH 2305  or MATH 2421  or MATH 2402  or MATH 2412 
An introduction to combinatorial mathematics including the following topics: the pigeonhole principle, permutations and combinations, binomial and multinomial coefficients, the principle of inclusion-exclusion, generating functions, Catalan numbers, and systems of distinct representatives.
