SOCW 6100 - Field Seminar 2Credits: 1 Class: 1 Lab: 0 Prerequisite(s): Completion of the following: SOCW 5100 : Field Seminar 1, SOCW 5303 : Human Behavior in the Social Environment, SOCW 5301: Critical Analysis of policies that Impact the Lived Experience, SOCW 5304: Foundations of Anti-oppressive Micro Practice Skills, SOCW 5401 : History and Ethics of the Profession and approval of Field Practicum Director. SOCW 5307 During this second semester in the field, students participate in assignments to be carried out in the field setting, projects to enhance skill development, and written assignments to help them integrate and apply classroom learning in the field setting. The Foundation Year Field Seminar Field course is designed to assist the student in processing and evaluating field experiences through the CSWE EPAS 2022 competencies.
