CS 2302 - Digital Logic

Prerequisite(s): Grade of C or better in CS 1410  and MATH 2305 .
Boolean expressions and theorems. Analysis and synthesis of combinational and sequential switching networks; optimization methods using random logic gates, multiplexers, decoders, registers, counters, and programmable logic devices. Exercises involve the design and simulation of digital circuits. Emphasis is on the use of Boolean Algebra, Truth Table, and Karnaugh Maps in the design, simulation, simplification, and testing of digital circuits.
