POLS 4399 - Political Science Capstone SeminarCredits: 3 Class: 3 Lab: 0 Prerequisite(s): POLS 2305 , POLS 2306 and junior standing. Capstone is mandatory for graduating majors. The course reviews the four major subfields in the discipline (political theory, U.S. politics, international relations, and comparative politics) and features lectures by fulltime faculty who rotate into the classroom to speak about their areas of interest. POLS 4399 also introduces students to the graduate and law school seminar format of independent reading, discussion, data analysis, original research, presentation, writing, and constructive critical thinking.
