PSY 4317 - Multicultural PsychologyCredits: 3 Class: 3 Lab: 0 Prerequisite(s): PSY 1303 and 6 additional hours in psychology and junior standing, or permission of instructor. This course focuses on understanding how culture (environment), ecology, and behavior interact to shape human thought and behavior. This course critically compares psychological diversity and the underlying reasons for such diversity. This course also considers new cultural blend, interconnected systems and multiple cultural identities.
