PSY 4318 - Comparative PsychologyCredits: 3 Class: 3 Lab: 0 Prerequisite(s): PSY 1303 and 6 hours in psychology. This course familiarizes students with research methods, theories, and experimental data in comparative psychology. The course will examine various events such as perception, spatial learning, timing, counting, social organization, memory, tool use, and knowledge of self in animals and humans. This course will also use evolutionary principles to relate the phylogenetic differences between species to their respective patterns of behavior and adaptation.
