STAT 4395 - Senior Project in Statistics

Crosslisted CS 4395, MATH 4395. Credit may not be earned for more than one. Prerequisite(s): Senior standing, formal approval by the prospective project advisor and the department chair.
Intensive study under the guidance of a member of the Mathematics & Statistics faculty culminating in an individually researched and formally written report and oral presentation dealing with the applications of the statistical sciences in the student’s area of specialization and/or to one type of business or industry in the greater Houston area.
