SOCW 4334 - Health Disparities in America

Credits: 3 Class: 3 Lab: 0
Prerequisite(s): Social Work major; Junior Status; In Good Standing, i.e., 2.5 GPA or better, Completion of Common Core requirements; SOCW 2361 , SOCW 2363 , and SOCW 3311 ; or approval of course instructor.
This course will introduce social work majors to the concepts, principles, and skills necessary for assessment, intervention, and evaluation of systems impacted by health disparities.
