NURS 4595 - Professional Practice Capstone

Prerequisite(s): Permission of instructor. Must be taken in the last semester of the BSN program.
This capstone course focuses on collaborative care of patients, families, communities, and populations across the lifespan with complex health care needs. Students apply concepts from previous program courses by creating and implementing a clinical project that provides health promotion activities enabling direct and indirect care for a selected aggregate group. Two (2) semester hours are outside clinical experiences culminating in an outcomes paper.
