Mathematics Minor

For Minors in Mathematics and Statistics:

• All hours counted toward the minor must be passed with “C” or better.
• At least 6 hours of upper-level course work in the minor must be completed at the University of Houston-Downtown.

Required Courses

• MATH 2401 - Calculus I
• MATH 2402 - Calculus II

• or

• MATH 2411 - Calculus I for the Natural Sciences
• MATH 2412 - Calculus II for the Natural Sciences

• Least 10 hours of mathematics courses (2000-level and above)
• At least 6 hours of which must be upper level mathematics courses (3000-level and above)
• Excluding MATH 3321  and MATH 3322 

Total: (18 hours minimum)
